WHAT IS THE GLAS-SHIELD ROOF SYSTEM?
The Glas-Shield Roof System is a cold, spray-applied system that is made up of four major components:
- MAINTENANCE/ PREPARATION
Preventive maintenance, repairs and cleaning are all a necessary part of the Glas-Shield system. - ASPHALT EMULSION
Water-based, nontoxic and wears only through oxidation. It will adhere to almost any surface or slope. Even vertical! - FIBERGLASS GUN ROVING
Chopped glass with more tensile strength than steel. When combined with emulsion using a special technique it strengthens the membrane and evens the rate of expansion and contraction over the entire roof. It makes a strong wearing surface. - SOLAR REFLECTIVE COATING (optional)
Water-based, nontoxic, long lasting, lowers energy costs, adds life to your roof and enhances the appearance of your building.
